Directed by Beth Wilkinson, Scenic Design for Curtains, the Musical Whodunnit. A musical about the death of the lead actress for a Broadway musical and the investigation to find out “Whodunnit”.
The idea for this design was there to be a distinct difference between the three worlds within the show, the theatre, western world, and dream scape. My idea was to create a space that felt warm and inviting with cold mystery surrounding. I did this by playing with the idea of actor entrances keeping the audience on the edge of their seats.
